Another question. (If you're grand enough to know the answer! :P)

What were the origins of sundering being desired?
When did it start? Why was it ever viewed as a good weapon mod?

Random surges of damage can be useful for dealing rapid spikes and pressure.

Who needs sundering when you can slap on a conjure and train your target?

I'm also curious as to the answer to Risa's question. Why was sundering desired in the first place? At 20%, it's bad, and at 10%, it was even worse. Who decided "Hey, let's make this pile of garbage into a money making machine!" I blame greens, if no one else knows the origins!

10/10 sundering was popular well before greens were introduced to the game. Sundering blows, the clever people know that.

My view..

Back in the day sundering mods were quite rare, and as we all know rarity = more cash..

Same goes with Sup asorbs, every wammo worth his weight in gold had one and was quite willing to pay the 80-100k asking price, as soon as they started to drop likes flies on horse shit nobody wanted to know anymore and now you can't sell the things for 1k..

If it's rare people will pay good money for it even if it does suck aka sundering, sup asorbs, sup vigor (when they sold for 50k+)

My view..take it or leave, I care not which :P

I was under the impression that sup abs used to be -3 dmg vs all, and also you only had to use one for your whole armor set to get the effects....

And also all the runes are extremely common now of course
